The two-time returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot senior took second in the heptathlon at the USATF Under-20 Championships earlier this month, earning a spot to represent Team USA at the World Athletics Under-20 Championships in August. Look’s heptathlon tally of 5,330 points broke her own state record by 262 points and ranked No. 2 nationally among prep girls competitors this spring as well as No. 16 in prep history. At the state meet, she won the 100-meter high hurdles, the 300 intermediate hurdles, the high jump, the long jump and the triple jump, leading the Owls to the team title.
Look has maintained a 3.68 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at Southern Methodist University this fall.
Look has volunteered locally on behalf of the Hawaii Humane Society in Honolulu, caring for shelter animals and serving as a foster owner for dogs. She has also donated her time as a youth track coach and mentor.
