Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-8 senior won three individual events at the Class 6A state meet this past season, leading the Lady Cavers to third place as a team. The two-time Class 6A Female Track and Field Athlete of the Year, Wise won the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 13.96 seconds, the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 42.86 and the 100-meter dash in 11.97. She also ran a leg for the third-place 4x100 relay quartet.

Academic Achievement

Wise has maintained a 3.72 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on an athletic scholarship at the University of California this fall.

Exemplary Character

The secretary of her senior class, Wise has volunteered locally on behalf of a food bank and an elementary school literacy-outreach initiative. She is also the founder of the Youth Ending Slavery club, which raises awareness about human trafficking.
