The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior point guard led the Bucs to a 30-2 record and a third-straight Prep Open State Tournament championship this past season. Rippey averaged 15.7 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals while also leading Blair to a runner-up finish at the National Prep Championship. A McDonald’s All-American Game selection, he is a finalist for the Naismith Award and is ranked as the nation’s No. 10 recruit in the Class of 2026 by 247Sports.com.
Rippey has maintained an A-minus average in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at Duke University this fall.
Near his home in Brooklyn, Rippey has volunteered with the GFB Develop Toy Drive in addition to donating his time at a food kitchen and homeless shelter. He has also served as a youth basketball coach.
