The 5-foot-9 senior guard had led the Pantherettes to a 38-3 record and a berth in the Class 6A state tournament semifinals at the time of her selection. Kelly averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 2.9 assists thru 41 games. A McDonald’s All-American Game selection, Kelly is ranked as the nation’s No. 17 recruit in the Class of 2020 by ESPN.com. She entered the state semifinals with 3,084 points in her prep basketball career.
Kelly has maintained a 3.37 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of North Carolina this fall.
A member of Duncanville High’s Student Ambassador program, Kelly has volunteered locally as a youth basketball coach, and she has donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
