Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound senior forward scored 19 goals and passed for 5 assists this past season, leading the Huskies (11-7) to the Class 6A semifinals. The two-time Tulsa World All-City Player of the Year, Dike broke the Class 6A state record for career goals scored, graduating with 71 goals, and was named the Jim Thorpe Male Player of the Year in soccer.

Academic Achievement

Dike has maintained a weighted 4.24 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Virginia this fall.

Exemplary Character

A devoted member of his church youth group, Dike has volunteered locally on behalf of the U.S. Youth Soccer TOPSoccer program serving young athletes with disabilities. “Daryl Dike is the best high school soccer player I’ve ever seen play the game,” said Eric Jenkins, head coach at Choctaw High. “His athleticism is unparalleled at this level.
