At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-4, 190-pound senior guard had led the Magicians (20-5) to a berth in the Class A state tournament before losing to Grand Forks Red River, 81-80, on a buzzer beater in the opening round. Dissette averaged 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game this past season. He was named the WDA’s Senior Athlete of the Year and is ranked as North Dakota’s No. 1 player in the Class of 2023 by PrepHoops.com. He concluded his prep career as the leading scorer in school history.
Dissette has maintained a 3.62 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at North Dakota State this fall.
Dissette has volunteered locally on behalf of multiple youth sports camps, including the Minot Magi Basketball Camp.
