The 6-foot-2 senior forward led the Bruins to a 17-1 record and the Class AA state championship this past season. Bartsch averaged 15.5 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals, netting 15 points in the Bruins’ 33-31 win over Hellgate High in the state title game to earn tournament MVP honors. A two-time Independent Record All-Area Player of the Year, she concluded her prep basketball career with 878 points and 664 rebounds.
Bartsch has maintained a 3.94 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Montana this fall.
Bartsch’s twin sister, Paige, was the 2018-19 Gatorade Montana Girls Volleyball Player of the Year. Dani Bartsch has volunteered with her local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and as a youth basketball coach. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
