The 5-foot-9, 155-pound senior midfielder scored 14 goals and passed for 17 assists this past season, leading the Wolves (25-1-4) to the Division 1 state championship. The state Division 1 Offensive MVP, Walmsley was also a two-time All-State honoree and was named All-Metro Player of the Year.
Walmsley has maintained a weighted 4.42 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at the College of Charleston this fall.
A tutor for younger students, Walmsley has volunteered locally on behalf of Habitat for Humanity and has raised funds to benefit childhood cancer research.
