The 5-foot-7, 150-pound senior forward led the Windjammers to a 16-1-1 record and the Class A state championship this past season. Bennett scored 20 goals and passed for eight assists on the year. Bennett was the Portland Press-Herald and Class A Player of the Year. He was also a United Soccer Coaches High School All-American selection.
Bennett has maintained an A average in the classroom. He will attend the University of New Brunswick in Canada, where he will play soccer, this fall.
Bennett has volunteered locally as a youth soccer coach and referee.
