The 6-foot-11, 220-pound senior center had led the Lions to a 21-7 record and the North Jersey Non-Public B finals at the time of his selection. Omoruyi averaged 14.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.6 blocks through 28 games. An All-State honoree, he is ranked as the nation’s No. 36 recruit in the Class of 2020 by Rivals.com and was selected to play in the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic.
Omoruyi has maintained a 3.47 GPA in the classroom. He remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
Omoruyi has volunteered locally on behalf of youth basketball programs.
