The 5-foot-1 junior middle distance talent set state records in the 800- and 1600-meter runs at the Great Eight Invitational this past season. Stegall’s winning 1600 time of 4:35.36 ranked No. 2 nationally among girls prep competitors this spring. Her 2:05.51 clocking in the 800 ranked No. 8 nationally. She also broke the tape in the 800 and 1600 at the Class AAA state meet, leading the Knights to a sixth-place finish as a team.
Stegall has maintained a weighted 4.55 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Stegall has volunteered locally at the Nolensville Food Pantry and is a member of the Best Buddies program at her school. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
