Huckins’ top wind-legal 200 clocking of 23.83 seconds at the District 3-6A Championships ranked No. 75 nationally among girls prep competitors this spring. Huckins has maintained a 3.25 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Huckins is a student aide in the Capital High front office and a member of the school’s Multicultural Club. She has volunteered locally at youth track meets and has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church congregation.
