The 5-foot-10, 165-pound junior midfielder and forward led the Knights to a 21-1 record and the Class AAAAAA state championship this past season. Asbridge scored 13 goals and passed for nine assists, serving as the key link between the River Ridge offense and defense. The Region 6-AAAAAA Player of the Year, he concluded his junior year with 25 goals and 13 assists in his prep soccer career.
Asbridge has maintained an A-minus average in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A member of the Student Athlete Leadership team at River Ridge, Asbridge has volunteered locally as part of an elementary school literacy program and as a youth soccer coach. He has also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church.
