The 5-foot-4 senior forward amassed 76 goals and passed for 30 assists this past season, leading the Black Knights (20-2) to the Class C semifinals. The state’s returning Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year, DeLyser scored a state-record 336 goals in six varsity seasons, a total that is believed to be the most in U.S. prep history (records kept only for four-year varsity careers). A three-time First Team All-State honoree, she was the Class C co-Player of the Year, the Greater Rochester Player of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches All-American.
DeLyser has maintained a B-plus average in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at The Ohio State University.
DeLyser has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics and youth soccer programs.
