“All I can say is I am thankful I do not have to face Cassidy anymore. She was a leader for her team. She reads the game very well, which makes it tough for opponents to break their back line. She made everyone around her better.”

Head Coach - Milford High

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-4 senior defender anchored a defense that allowed five goals and recorded 14 shutouts this past season, leading the Cavaliers (17-1-1) to the Division II state championship game. Engle, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee in the state final, was the New Hampshire Soccer Coaches Association Division II Player of the Year. An NHSCA First Team All-State selection, she was also a United Soccer Coaches All-New England Region honoree.

Academic Achievement

Engle, who attends the Academy for Science and Design charter school in Nashua, has maintained a weighted 3.85 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer on scholarship at Pace University this fall.

Exemplary Character

Engle is a member of the Scouting America’s Troop 22, where she has served as a Senior Patrol Leader and helped run her town’s Scouting for Food campaign to support local food pantries. She has volunteered locally at a horse farm and as a youth soccer coach. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
