At the time of her selection, the 5-foot-7 senior right-handed pitcher had led the Knights (19-3) to the NCCC title and a trip to the second round of the CIAC Class L state tournament this season. Fisher entered the postseason round of 32 with a 19-1 record in the circle with a 0.00 ERA and 374 strikeouts in 141 innings for an average of 2.7 Ks per innings. She owned a WHIP of .034 and opposing batters hit .034 against her through 22 games. At the plate, Fisher entered the tournament’s second round batting .417 with 5 home runs, 31 RBI and a 1.331 OPS. She is ranked as the nation’s No. 42 prospect in her class by Extra Innings Softball.
Fisher has maintained an 86.9 average in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play softball at Appalachian State University (N.C.) this fall.
Fisher has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, the Vernon Soup Kitchen and the Enfield Senior Center. The president of her school’s debate club, she has also donated her time as a youth softball coach and mentor.
