The 6-foot-0, 165-pound senior forward led the Irish to a 14-4-2 record and the Class 3A Section 10 final this past season. Kurzawa scored 28 goals and passed for 12 assists, accounting for almost 70 percent of her team’s goals. He had eight multi-goal games and despite the postseason loss, had the lone Irish assist in regulation and made his penalty in the sectional shootout. Also the Indiana High School Coaches Association’s Mr. Soccer honoree, he was a 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-American selection.
Kurzawa has maintained a 3.68 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at the University of Wisconsin this fall.
Kurzawa has volunteered locally on behalf of the Grace Church food pantry. He has also donated his time as a youth soccer coach in his community and at Camp Cathedral.
