The 5-foot-9, 140-pound senior raced to the Class 2A individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:08.12. Pottorff also won the flrunners.com Invitational, the Spanish River Invitational, the Region 4 championships and the District 14 championships.
Pottorff has maintained a 3.82 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in cross country and track and field on scholarship at Florida State University this fall.
Pottorff has volunteered locally on behalf of charity road races, food-donation drives and beach clean-up initiatives. "Caleb is a very focused and determined student-athlete," said Lincoln Park coach Veryl Moore. "He's motivated to perform on a high level on a daily basis."
