Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound junior right-handed pitcher and outfielder led the SkyHawks (28-5) to the Class B state championship this past season. Day, who drove in the game-winning run in the eighth inning of the state title game, picked up the win on the mound in relief. He compiled a 6-0 record with a 0.67 ERA and fanned 60 batters in 42 innings pitched. Ranked as the nation’s No. 47 high school prospect in his class by Prep Baseball, Day also batted .427 with 26 RBI and scored 41 runs.

Academic Achievement

Day has maintained a 3.65 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to play baseball on scholarship at Florida State University beginning in the fall of 2027.

Exemplary Character

Day has volunteered locally with the “Stuff the Truck” Christmas toy drive and “Operation Home Run,” a blanket drive for a children’s hospital. He has also donated his time as a Skutt Catholic Student Ambassador and Camp Counselor.
