The 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior right-handed pitcher and infielder compiled a 4-1 record with a 1.27 earned run average this past season, leading the Eagles (22-11) to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference tournament championship series. Moore struck out 56 batters in 44 innings pitched while allowing just 25 hits. At the plate, the WCAC Player of the Year posted a .364 batting average with three home runs, 26 runs scored and a .568 slugging percentage.
Moore has maintained a weighted 4.15 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Virginia this fall.
Moore has volunteered locally at the Father McKenna Center, a homeless shelter and food bank. He has also donated his time as a youth baseball coach.
