The 6-foot, 155-pound senior won two gold medals at the Class A state meet this past season, leading the Patriots to a first place finish as a team. Turner broke the tape in the 110-meter high hurdles in a wind-aided 13.69 seconds, which ranked No. 20 nationally for all conditions among prep competitors in 2023. He also won a state title in the high jump, clearing 6 feet, 6 inches. His top wind-legal time in the 110 hurdles of 14.02 seconds ranked No. 50 nationally this spring.
Turner has maintained a weighted 3.86 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at North Dakota State University this fall.
Turner has volunteered locally building desks and office furniture for people in need, and he has donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church.
