The 6-foot senior forward had led the Astros to a 19-3 record and a berth in the Division I state tournament semifinals at the time of her selection. Kane averaged 20.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 2.1 assists and 1.3 blocks through 22 games. The 2017-18 Division I Player of the Year, Kane is a two-time First Team All-State selection. She entered the state semifinals with 1,232 points in her prep basketball career.
Kane has maintained a weighted A average in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of New Hampshire beginning this fall.
A member of the Future Career and Community Service leaders of America, Kane has volunteered locally with the Special Olympics and as part of community beautification projects.
