The 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior midfielder led the Patriots to a 27-1 record and a second straight Class 3A state championship this past season. Pike scored 39 goals and passed for 21 assists, capping his spring with five goals and an assist in Powdersville’s 6-1 win over Oceanside Collegiate Academy in the state final. A three-time Region Player of the Year and three-time All-State selection, he concluded his prep career with 100 goals and 68 assists.
Pike has maintained a weighted 4.90 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer for the University of Alabama at Birmingham this fall.
Pike was a Powdersville High Spirit Club leader, organizing a group that led the football team onto the field before every home game. He was honored as his school’s “Mr. Patriot” for his efforts. He has volunteered locally as a recycling coordinator.
