The 6-foot-3, 205-pound junior left-handed pitcher and outfielder was one of 80 players invited to play in the Major League Baseball Prospect Development Pipeline League this summer. A member of the USA Baseball 17U Developmental Team, Selvidge was named to the 2020 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American Team. Ranked as the nation’s No. 13 prospect in the Class of 2021 by Baseball America, he hit a three-run homer in the 2019 Conference 6A state title game, leading the Huskies to the state title.
Selvidge has maintained a weighted 3.77 GPA in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to play baseball on scholarship at Louisiana State University beginning in the fall of 2021.
Selvidge has volunteered locally with Feed Our Starving Children, and he has donated his time as a youth baseball coach for underprivileged children.
