“The Class A state champion, Bismarck’s Brady Korsmo won all but one meet against in-state competition. His showing at the Rapid City Area Schools Invitational was another highlight for Brady, who is the second member of his family to win the Gatorade POY Award, joining older brother Sean, who won two years ago.”

The 5-foot-11, 145-pound senior raced to victory at the Class A state championships this past season in a personal-best time of 15:28.80, pacing the Demons to second place as a team. Korsmo won four invitational meets last fall and competed in both the Nike Cross and the Champs Sports regional championships.
