The 6-foot-1, 160-pound senior defender led the Pioneers to a 24-0-1 record and the Class 4A state championship this past season. Costin scored seven goals and passed for 14 assists, including a goal in Conestoga’s 2-1, overtime win over Central Bucks South in the state final. Costin also anchored a defense that allowed just nine goals and posted 19 shutouts. The Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year, he was a United Soccer High School Coaches All-American selection as well.
Costin has maintained a weighted 3.87 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Delaware this fall.
Costin has volunteered locally with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and as a youth soccer coach. He has also donated his time at a food bank and homeless shelter.
