The 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior left-handed pitcher and first baseman led the Lynx to a 24-4 record and the Class 3A state championship this past season. After being closed since 1987, Lincoln High reopened in 2019 with a baseball roster of all freshmen, including Johnson, a four-year captain. Johnson compiled an 8-1 record with a 0.83 earned run average on the mound, striking out 105 in 67.1 innings while allowing just 13 walks. A three-time Seattle Times All-Metro selection, he batted .348 with five doubles, 20 runs scored, 27 RBI and a .522 slugging percentage.
Johnson has maintained a 3.30 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at Auburn University this fall.
Johnson has volunteered locally as a youth baseball coach.
