The 5-foot-8, 135-pound junior middle-distance and distance talent won the Class 5A state championship in the 800- and 1,600-meter events this past season, clocking a personal-best in each. Lee also took eighth in the mile at the RunningLane Track Championships with a time of 4:04.95 seconds, which ranked No 28 among boys prep competitors this spring. He was unbeaten in the 800 this spring and his top time in that event ranked No. 82 nationally.
Lee has maintained a 3.87 weighted GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school in the fall.
Lee has volunteered locally on behalf of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, helping to assemble and deliver beds for children in need. He has also donated his time to the Backpack Society, distributing bags of nonperishable food items to families experiencing food insecurity.
