The 5-foot-10, 190-pound senior running back rushed for 1,708 yards and 29 touchdowns this past season, averaging 6.3 yards per carry and 131.4 yards per game to lead the Sallies to a 12-1 record and the Class 3A state title, the program’s first in 10 years. He also caught 13 passes for 117 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes.
Alleyne has maintained an A-minus average in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he will play football, beginning this fall.
Alleyne has volunteered locally at a church breakfast, making omelets, bussing tables and working the cash register. He also has donated his time as a youth ambassador and as a caretaker at the Teen Warehouse, a youth center in Wilmington.
