The 6-foot-7, 205-pound senior forward had led the Wolverines to a 17-8 record and a berth in the Class 1A state tournament at the time of his selection. White averaged 17.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.1 blocks and 3.7 assists through 25 games. The Class 1A State Tournament MVP as a junior, he is also the Peninsula Conference MVP and a two-time First Team All-State honoree.
White has maintained a 3.99 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Alaska-Anchorage this fall.
White has volunteered locally on behalf of youth basketball programs. "White is a skilled 6-foot-7 kid who can put the ball on the floor, shoot it and post up," said Archie Young, head coach at Mt. Edgecumbe High, "And his best basketball is yet to come."
