The 5-foot-7 senior right-handed pitcher and shortstop led the Jaguars to a 35-7 record this past season, posting a 20-5 record with a 1.31 ERA. Widra struck out 236 batters and walked just 12 in 123 innings pitched. Alabama’s Miss Softball, she also batted .490 with 15 home runs and 47 RBI. A Premier Girls Fastpitch All-American, Widra is a five-time All-State honoree and the All-South Metro Player of the Year. She was ranked as the nation’s No. 8 recruit in the Class of 2021 by Extra Inning Softball.
Widra has maintained a 3.80 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Michigan this fall.
Also a talented dancer, Widra has served as a special education student aide in her school and has volunteered locally on behalf of youth softball programs.
