At the time of her selection, the 6-foot senior guard/forward had led the Bulldogs to a 28-4 record and a berth in the 5A state championship game. Greenwood’s career scoring leader with more than 1,800 points, Trusty averaged 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.6 steals through 30 games. A 5A All-State selection, she entered the state final looking to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-peat.
Trusty has maintained a 4.06 GPA in the classroom. She remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
A National Honor Society member, Trusty has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics as well as a variety of youth basketball camps. She has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
