The 5-foot-10 junior right-handed pitcher and shortstop led the Bison to a 24-2 record and a second-straight Class AA state championship this past season. Toon posted a 15-2 record with a 1.75 ERA and 114 strikeouts against just 12 walks in 100 innings pitched. She fired three postseason shutouts, including two on the final day of the double-elimination tournament as Great Falls won three straight games to claim the title. At the plate, she batted .500 with eight home runs, 44 runs scored, 38 RBI and a .963 slugging percentage.
Toon has maintained a 3.63 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Toon helped organize and run a youth sports camp last summer in Great Falls. She has volunteered locally with a recycling company and as a youth softball and baseball coach.
