The 5-foot-5 junior won the javelin with a meet-record throw of 156 feet, 11 inches at the Class A state championships this past season, leading the Wildcats to a sixth-place finish as a team. Street set a state record in the javelin at a meet in May with a toss of 158-8, which ranked No. 4 in the nation among prep competitors at the time of her selection. She also took third in the shot put and 13th in the discus at the state meet.
Street has maintained a B average in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Street has volunteered locally as a youth track coach.
