The 5-foot-9, 145-pound junior midfielder scored 11 goals and passed for 14 assists this past season, leading the Huskies (21-6-2) to the Class 3A Super-Sectionals. The 2021 Daily Herald DuPage County All-Area captain, Barger was also a 2021 United Soccer Coaches High School All-American selection. A two-time First Team All-State honoree, he concluded his junior year with 29 goals and 30 assists in his prep soccer career.
Barger has maintained a weighted 4.09 GPA in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to play soccer on scholarship at Indiana University beginning in the fall of 2023.
Barger has volunteered locally with Feed My Starving Children and as a youth soccer coach.
