The 5-foot-10 senior thrower took seventh in the discus event at the USATF Under-20 Championships earlier this month, launching the apparatus 153 feet, 9 inches. Anderson also managed Top 15 finishes in both the discus and the shot at the Nike Outdoor Nationals this spring. At the Class 3A state meet, she won the shot put event with a throw of 47-0.5 as the Tigers went on to win the team title. A four-time All-State selection and the state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year in track and field, her personal-best efforts of 168-11 in the discus and 50-8.5 in the shot, respectively, ranked No. 6 and No. 7 nationally among prep girls competitors in 2026. She concluded her prep career as the state all-class record-holder in the shot put.
Anderson has maintained a weighted 4.39 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at the University of Wisconsin this fall.
Anderson has volunteered locally as part of multiple fundraisers to benefit her community and has donated her time working in the concessions stand at school athletic events in addition to coaching youth athletes. She has also served her church community as part of its confirmation and Sunday school programs. She spends much of her free time working a part-time job at a rental company in her area.
