The 6-foot junior corner infielder led the Saints (25-4) to the Class 5A state championship game this past season. Sabers batted .667 with 64 RBI and 12 home runs with the latter two statistics representing single-season program records. Ranked as the nation’s No. 95 prospect in her class by Softball America, she also scored 50 runs and compiled a .717 on-base percentage to earn First Team All-Eastern Kansas League.
Sabers has maintained an A average in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play softball on scholarship at Penn State University beginning in the fall of 2027.
Sabers has volunteered locally in multiple capacities with Variety KC, a nonprofit organization benefitting kids with disabilities. Along with her friend, Kaden, who has a condition called spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), she has helped open inclusive and accessible parks and accompanies Kaden to book signings, where she reads, “Variety Tales: Kaden’s Dream,” the first in a series of books that explore the dreams of Variety KC kids.
