“Addison Moore is a once-in-a-lifetime individual. She’s always had talent, however, she has struggled to have confidence in those talents. She spent time this season working on winning the mental battle, the final key that needed to be unlocked for her to win an outdoor state title.”

Head Coach - Woodford County High

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-4 senior middle distance and distance talent swept the 1600- and 3200-meter runs at the Class 3A state meet this past season, leading the Yellow Jackets to a second-place finish as a team. The state’s 2025-26 Gatorade Girls Cross Country Player of the Year, Moore was unbeaten on the season against in-state competition at distances ranging from 400 to 3200 and she’s a three-time Class 3A cross country state champion. She capped her outdoor track season with a pair of personal-bests at the Nike Outdoor Nationals, finishing 10th in the 800 with a time of 2:09.35, which ranked No. 83 nationally among prep girls competitors this spring, and 13th in the mile in 4:48.23, which ranked No. 63 nationally.

Academic Achievement

Moore has maintained a weighted 4.21 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at Lipscomb University this fall.

Exemplary Character

Honored as a scholar student-athlete by the Woodford County Board of Education, Moore has volunteered locally as a preschool teacher at her church and as a peer tutor. A member of the leadership team with her school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, she has also donated her time as a youth running coach.
