The 5-foot-8 senior sprinter and hurdler earned All-American honors with a second-place finish in the 100-meter high hurdles at Nike Outdoor Nationals this past season. Turpin’s silver-medal-winning time of 13.42 seconds set a state record and ranked No. 9 nationally among girls prep competitors in 2026. She also set the state record in the 100-meter dash at the Art Madric Hall of Fame Invitational in April, clocking a time of 11.51, which ranked No. 32 nationally. Turpin won four titles, including one relay, at the Division I state meet, leading the Eagles to third place as a team.
Turpin has maintained a B average in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to compete on scholarship at Texas Tech University this fall.
Turpin has volunteered locally as a youth track coach and has donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
