Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior catcher is the nation’s No. 7 high school prospect as ranked by Baseball America and was a member of the 2019 USA Baseball 18U National Team. Also a 2019 First Team All-State selection, Soderstrom batted .428 with a 1.285 OPS for the Bulldogs in 2020 before the season was cancelled.

Academic Achievement


Soderstrom has maintained a 3.82 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at UCLA, but is projected as an early round selection in June’s Major League Baseball draft.

Exemplary Character


Soderstrom has donated his time as a peer tutor and has volunteered on behalf of his school’s Link Crew and the American Cancer Society.
