Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior outfielder batted .422 batting with eight home runs and 38 runs scored this past season, leading the Huskies (23-5) to the second round of the Class 8A state tournament. The left-handed-hitting Greene also stroked 11 doubles and three triples, driving in 27 runs. Ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2019 by Baseball America, Greene owned a .554 on-base percentage and a .916 slugging percentage. He won a gold medal in December with the USA Baseball Under-18 National Team at the Pan-American Championships in Panama.

Greene has maintained a weighted 3.79 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Florida this fall, but is projected as an early round selection in June’s Major League Baseball draft.

Greene has volunteered locally as a youth baseball coach and umpire.
