She has volunteered locally as part of multiple community-service initiatives through her school's Rotary International Interact Club. Nickles has also donated her time generously to youth players, serving as a volunteer assistant for the past four years
G: What one piece of advice do you have for freshman about being a successful high school student athlete?
MN: Set your goals early and stick to your priorities. Get your studies and your workouts in first, before heading out for the extra stuff.

MN: Earning a spot on the USA Women's National Elite Team!

MN: Never expect yourself to do more than what you are capable of doing.
