The 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior running back rushed for 1,701 yards and 26 touchdowns on 207 carries this past season, leading the Titans to a 5-4 record. An All-State selection, Lingard has been selected to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He is a three-time All-District honoree and is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 running back recruit in the Class of 2018 by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.
Lingard has maintained a B average in the classroom. He has verbally committed to play football on scholarship at the University of Miami in the fall of 2018.
Also a track and field standout, Lingard has volunteered locally on behalf of youth football programs. “Lingard possesses talents and skills that come along maybe once in a coach’s career,” said Scott Perry, head coach at Lake Mary High. “He’s tough, fast, agile and he has such great vision. He’s clearly the best player on the field whenever he plays.”
