Athletic Excellence


The state’s returning Gatorade Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year, this 6-foot, 220-pound senior won the discus throw and shot put at the Class 4A state meet this past season, leading the Patriots to a seventh-place finish as a team. Moore also won the discus at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in April launching the apparatus 200 feet, 11 inches, which ranked No. 5 in the nation among prep competitors in 2019 at the time of his selection.

Academic Achievement


Moore has maintained a weighted 3.13 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a national letter of intent to compete on an athletic scholarship at the University of California, Davis beginning this fall.

Exemplary Character


Moore has volunteered locally as a mentor and instructor to young throwers at his club, Throwers’ Respect.
