Athletic Excellence


The 6-foot-4 junior forward and center had led the Bearcats to a 21-1 record and a berth in the Class 3A state tournament quarterfinals at the time of her selection. Douglas averaged 23.0 points, 13.9 rebounds, 5.0 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.2 assists through 22 games. A two-time Class 3A First Team All-State selection, the Bearcats are 76-2 since Fertig entered the starting lineup as a freshman and have won back-to-back state championships.

Academic Achievement


Fertig has maintained a weighted 4.14 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2021.

Exemplary Character


An award-winning artist, Fertig has volunteered locally as a youth basketball and volleyball coach.
